Dwelling deep beneath the surface of Cybertron, Monsterbots (aka Pesticons) are prehistoric creatures who inhabit an untamed, primordial land filled with savage Cybertronian wildlife. Their level of intelligence seems to correspond to their bug-monster alternate modes, and they have a craving for Energon.
