Megatron is the ruthless leader of the Decepticons and a merciless tyrant. In the ancient Cybertron, Megatron leaded a protesting revolution against the corrupt government which soon became an uprising against the Autobots and their leader, Megatron's brother Optimus Prime. Megatron's anarchic ways have turned him dangerous, aggressive, and unpredictable.

Personality[]
Intially on Cybertron, Megatron appeared to be a competitive, fearless, noble and sporting Cybertronian. Megatron was convinced that he is a hero to all Cybertronians to the point of announcing that he should be the leader to make a bigger, better Cybertron.
Instead of doing this for the people of Cybertron, Megatron was only doing it for himself which lead to the destruction of the Cybertron; showing his true colors into becoming a cold, cunning, ruthless, unstable and rather egotistical Deception.
He also might be described as relentless; as shown in Season 2 Episode 2 when he was constantly chasing and crushing Starscream until his destruction due to the latter's betrayal to Megatron.

- Master hand-to-hand combatant: Megatron has always demonstrated a peculiar abillity of fighting and a tendency to violency much higher than most Cybertronians, thanks to, for most, military and personal enhancements and hard training. He served as a military general for the Cybertron Military Division for several centuries, as well as his time as a gladiator in the Pits of Kaon. These times when violence tended to help Megatron surviving made him agressive and beyond control in his battle mode.
- Master strategist: As the leader of the Cybertron Military Divison for several time, and, in soon later leader of the Decepticons, Megatron has many leadership and strategism traits.
